Scheduling Events
The Schedule Editor
lets you control the days your Item is viewable on your Web
site. You can program your Item to display in three
general ways.
Persistent
If you would like
your Item to always be displayed on your page, change the
year value of the "From" and "To" switches to "bigbang" and
"eternity". For the purposes of IN2U, "bigbang" is
considered to be the beginning of time. Make sure all of the
days of the week are turned on too.
Daily
Within the "From"
and "To" range, you can make an Item show up on specific
days of the week. Check the boxes to the left of the days
you would like the Item to be present on your
page.
Weekly/Monthly
You can make an
Item start on a given day, and expire on another. Change the
Day, Month and Year droplists of the From and To switches to
the appropriate days. Updates to your page are performed
around midnight, US Central Time.
Note: IN2U allows for
fairly complex Item Schedule programming. It is a good idea
to check your work with the Time Dial after editing an
Item's Schedule.
Note: If there is a
conflict between the range of viewable dates and the
viewable days, your item may not display when expected. If
you want to have an Item display on one given day, use the
Day, Month and Year droplists, and leave all of the Day
switches on.
