URL
Uniform Resource Locator. A Web address. This is the name and path to files
hosted on the Internet. www.i-2.com/help/index.html is an example of a URL.
Upload File
Sending a file from one computer to another. IN2U allows you to Upload
Images Files using the Image Content Tool.
User
A User is considered to be an identifiably distinct computer connected to
your Web site. Because Users are identified by the computer address that
allows an Internet connection, it is sometimes difficult to identify
individual users. Most ISPs use a common computer to connect their Users to
the Internet. This group of Users show up as one User to the Web Server.
User Agent
The type of Client used to view a Web page. In the context of Log analysis,
User Agents are the Browser versions most commonly used. Netscape
Communicator 4.05 Windows95 is an example of a User Agent.
Username
An account identifier. Used in conjunction with a Password, Usernames allow
a computer to check the validity of a Client's access to a Secure area.
