KByte

Kilobyte. One thousand Bytes of data. Amounts of data are measured in kilobytes.

Key Pair

For purposes of Public Key encryption products like PGP, a Key Pair consists of a Public Key and a Private Key. Both Keys are needed to Decrypt files encrypted using the Public Key Method.

Key Server

A machine that stores Public Keys. Users can retrieve Public Keys from Key Servers to encrypt information using Public Key Encryption products, like PGP.
