Cache
A temporary copy of a file, kept in an easy to access location. Web
Browsers use a Cache file to keep copies of recently visited Web site
files. When a user visits a Web site, the Web Browser first looks in its
Cache for a copy of the Web page. If there is already a copy in the Cache,
the Web Browser will use the Cached copy instead of the copy on the Web.
This results in a faster browsing experience. Sometimes, Caches will keep
inappropriate copies of files in them. It is often necessary to clear your
Cache file to guarantee you are seeing the most current copy of a file.
Another good trick for forcing a current copy of a file into your browser
is appending a "query string" to the URL with a question mark. For example,
append some random text after the URL in your Browser's location window
like this... http://www.i-2.com/index.html?blahblahblah. This will make the
Browser think it is requesting a new copy of the file.
