BMP

Windows Bitmap. BMP files are images saved using the Windows Bitmap format. BMP files are not supported by Web Browsers. You can send your images to your Fulfillment Representative as BMP files. We will convert these files into Web friendly formats for you.

Background

Web pages can have their Background defined as a solid color, or an Image can be used. If you would like to use an Image as the Background for your Web page, make sure the Image does not interfere with the Web page's contents.

Backup

A reserve copy of files. Backup files are used to recover from the loss of data. Frontier Total Web keeps Backup copies of all files related to your Web site.

Bigbang

For the purposes of IN2U, Bigbang is considered to be the beginning of time.

Bit

Short for binary digit. A bit is either a 0 or a 1. Bits are the "words" of a computers machine language. A bit is the smallest unit of computer storage.

Byte

A subdivision of a machine word, typically comprised of eight Bits. A "word" is now typically 32 Bits.
